Who wins had Niners averted Rote's rally one week prior?

I was going to ask that as well. Should have simply titled this thread, "'57 NFL post-season and hypotheticals". which would have been - three 8-4 Western teams; then host the Det/SF winner the following week. No reason to feel a Lions/Niners 'semifinal' at Kesar would have had a different result. How does Lions/Colts Western championship turn out? As they did with Niners, Colts spilt with Lions as well - walloping them at home in the opener. And how does Paul Brown go about preparing his troops in the - not two - but three weeks before playing another game? The first two of those weeks without even knowing who or where his team will be playing.
