Out of curiosity what in your opinion are the best drives in the history of the NFL?

One of mine has to be the Giants in Super Bowl XLII. The Tyreek catch, the Buress touchdown, a near game sealing interception dropped, and if I’m not mistaken a converted fourth down early on?

Another one that deserves mention for me if we are willing to consider regular season games: That one drive Vince Young led against the Cardinals in 2009 I believe?

Where they were down four with 2:40 to go or so, and he led them 99 yards and threw a game winning touchdown with no time remaining and converted three fourth downs and another 3rd & 5.

To me that’s one of the greatest and most suspenseful drives I’ve ever seen and if it occurred in a playoff game then it probably goes down as one of the greatest ever by consensus.

The Unitas-to-Berry game winning drive in the 1958 NFL Championship had alot of overtime drama. Unitas threw a game winning TD pass to Jim Mutscheller, but he slipped out of bounds at the one yard line. Ameche ran it in on the next play to cover Carroll Rosenbloom's bet on the team ... haha, we dont know for sure, but John wanted to score a TD. He had already led them on another great drive to tie the game before "sudden death".

The "Drive" by Denver in the 1986 AFC championship game to tie the game before another drive won it in overtime. The "Fumble" by Cleveland in the 1987 AFC championship game also had alot of drama though the Broncos stopped them.

The 49ers of course, with the 89 yard drive to beat Dallas in the 1981 NFC championship game with "The Catch".

Speaking of name games, who could forget the dramatic Raiders drive that resulted in "The Sea Of Hands Game" TD against Miami in the 1974 divisional playoff?

More Joe Montana? How about the 92 yard drive to beat the Bengals in the 1988/89 SB? A dart TD to John Taylor.

The 1967 Ice Bowl NFL championship game and the great Packers drive with Bart Starr scoring the winning TD

Want more Ken Stabler? Another name game where "The Ghost to the Post" pass and drive tied the Colts in the 1977 divisional playoff. Then in overtime, Stabler hit Casper in the endzone to complete another dramatic drive.

Bob Griese and Miami had a dramatic TD drive to tie KC in the NFL's "Longest Game"divisional playoff in 1971 before the first overtime period.

People forget the two great drives to end the SF-Det divisional playoff game in 1983. Montana leads a nine play march into the endzone with a TD pass to Solomon to tie the game at 23-23. The extra kick gives the Niners the lead. With only 1:20 on the clock, the Lions march down the field where Eddie Murray misses a 43 yard FG attempt with 5 seconds left.
