Eagles Lose to Jaguars 19 to 17

The Philadelphia Eagles finally got second half points with Jake Elliot's 48 yard field goal with 10 seconds left. After that came some lax kickoff return coverage which set up a 58 yards field goal and the Eagles lost 19 to 17. They could not move the ball at all in the second half. I saw last night where Howie Roseman will do some player changes with an eye to 2027-2028. That may be the best strategy.

Yep, Eagles blew it, after a great defensive game. I wonder if the Jags return came off a squib kick?

No, the Eagles kicked it to about the 8.
The defense on the return was horrible. Moreover, the Jags have no timeouts left. So any scrimmage play in the field is going to end the game. Eagles should have boomed it into the end zone. Then it's a 20 yard + play that has to get OB. Just a stupid call by the Eagles coaches.
