Wasnt going to post as much on this upcoming season, but when I see crap during these regular season games, have to say something and wonder how players perform and officials officiate?

Opening night ... Patriots lead due to a terrible interference call against Seattle. Underthrown ball and the Seattle player barely touched AJ Brown, playing the ball and getting his head turned.

Darnold out with a hip injury ...

Haha ... Patriots extend first drive of the second half due to an Academy award winning performance from their punter, drawing a roughing call. Pats up now 10-0.

The Dark Side defense pulled out the game for Seattle, but some bad interceptions by Maye as well. NE just couldnt put the pressure on with a 10pt lead. Gritty win for Drew Lock. Tough game for Doubs for NE.

That game belonged to the defenses. Hopefully Darnold is ok.

Easy win for the 49ers ... Trent Williams shows why he is the best tackle in football. Rams made a mistake touching down too late in Aussie Land.

Exactly. All sports are like that, which is why their products are getting worse. These leagues have too many teams, and some need to be contracted for starters (the NHL and NBA are prime examples).

I think the players like their money too ... so do the advertisers ....

Saints were robbed today on a ridiculous play that was first ruled a lateral fumble returned for a TD by the defense. Then the officials ruled it an incomplete pass from Goff. They said his arm was going forward though the ball went clearly backward when hit. How many times are the referees going to keep bailing out QBs on clear fumbles in the name of protection? Happens over and over with ridiculous explanations.

Huge upset by the Cards over the Chargers. First win for a debut coach for the Cardinals since DON CORYELL.

Panthers, Packers, Browns and Colts played terrible defense today.

Huge win for Buffalo in their new "Big Nickel" stadium(a spoof on those ridiculous new greyish uniforms). Josh Allen off to a hot start and determined to reach 90 career rushing TDs this year. Palmer and Rousseau also off to good starts.

As usual, the Lions secondary has no answers despite the offense playing better in garbage time. Still, surprised the crowd wasnt larger, I think only 60,000 in attendence?

Allen now has as many career rushing touchdowns as Jim Taylor. (83 apiece)

If he keeps up the pace for a few more seasons, he could reach Adrian Peterson perhaps. That’s a big if however given that he’s in his early 30’s and might not run as well.
