I recall Dan Pastorini of the Houston Oilers being traded to the Oakland Raiders for Ken Stabler. Were there other starting quarterbacks ever traded for one another?
Thank you in advance.

In 1964, the Eagles traded Sonny Jurgensen to the Redskins for Norm Snead, which was a trade of starting quarterbacks for one another.

That's the one I thought of too. Not sure about this, but I think the Redskins also sent somebody like Claude Crabb to the Eagles as part of the deal.

The Redskins sent Claude Crabb with Snead and the Eagles sent Jimmy Carr with Jurgensen.

Steve Ramsey and Craig Morton were traded for each other after the 1976 season. Both were starters for the Broncos and Giants respectively, though Ramsey was benched near the end of the season. Morton made it to the Super Bowl, and Ramsey didn't make the Giants.
Jim Ninowski and Milt Plum were traded for each other in a Lions/Browns trade that included other players.
Charley Johnson and Pete Beathard were traded for each other between the Cardinals and Oilers. Along with Miller Farr and Bob Atkins.

Norm Snead was also traded from the Vikings to the Giants for Fran Tarkenton, which involved other Vikings as well. Ironically, Snead started and won more games with the Giants in 1972 than Tarkenton with the Vikings. Would Tarkenton had made the HOF had the Vikings not drafted Chuck Foreman in 1973?

Norm Snead traded for not just once but twice involving future HOF quarterbacks.

Snead only started 2 games for the 1971 Vikings. I wouldn't count him. Otherwise, John Hadl for Lynn Dickey would also count.
