Do you think the Ice Bowl would be played today? Or pushed back/moved for safety reasons?

Do you think the Ice Bowl would be played today? In those conditions? Or would public safety be a concern and player safety in our litigious world? Delayed? Moved to another city and/or possibly moved indoors?

I seem to recall reading that Rozelle did consider delaying the game.

That was indeed the coldest game but I doubt it would get cancelled today. Just in the 2023/24 postseason, the Dolphins played in -4 degrees and -27 degrees with the wind chill factor against the Chiefs in KC. Officially, the 4th coldest game in NFL history.

I have the utmost respect for fans that brave those kind of elements for hours. My dad told me at least the players get to run around and generate some heat, the fans don't.
When I was young and you've all seen guys with their shirts off at football games in cold weather, I would yell to my dad, "Look dad, no shirt! No shirt!" He'd yell back, "No brains! No brains!"
