a couple of quotes ffrom X

Former Rams DL Michael Brockers hints that the legendary Aaron Donald has been staying in shape and is considering coming out of retirement to play with Myles Garrett.

"(I have) some knowledge that others might not have... My guy is staying ready so he doesn't have to get ready."

Aaron Donald texted Pat McAfee that the Rams' trade for Myles Garrett has "for sure got (him) thinking" about a comeback.

"Got to see if that fire can light back up."

-------------------------------------------------
Comebcks missing 2 or more seasons-- Deion, Bronko (special circumstances), Alzado tried and failed.

Orlando Brown Sr., Michael Vick (special circumstances) are some guys out with injuries or suspensions, there are some more examples of this ...

Main question that would be fun to see if he still has it to same level, maybe plays, designated role, maybe plays and is good but not Pro Bowler ... or better?

If Danielle Hunter and Von Miller could come back from major injuries to play, I dont see why Donald couldnt from retirement?Might take about three months to be game ready though.

Tom Landry thought Ed Jones was better physically after taking a year off but that was due to training for boxing.

As a 49ers fan I can't say the thought of that overjoys me.

Talk about the second coming of Merlin Olsen and Deacon Jones... sheesh...
