One of the Biggest Losses Ever 2025 Dallas

Yesterday's game was the worst I have felt since the 2008 NFC Title Game. No team can continue with this kind of sluggish offense and expect to win. The Eagles just could not move the ball consistently after the first quarter and that put too much pressure on the defense. Barkeley was awful and the Cowboys just shut down the passing game.

The situation reminded me of the 1991 and 2009 seasons ironically with the Dallas Cowboys. In 1991 we had a six game winning streak with some of the best defensive play you will ever see. After that came the 25 to 13 loss to Dallas in week 15, which eliminated Philadelphia from the playoffs. The Eagles recorded just one sack for seven yards and no turnovers.

The Eagles had another six game winning streak in 2009 running their record to 11-4. In three of those games they left points someplace but not on the scoreboard. The Eagles lost at Dallas 24 to 0 in the final week. Both teams had 11-5 records but the playoff game was at Dallas; we lost both regular season games to them. For the second time in a week Dallas ripped us in the playoffs 34 to 14. A real collapse.

Lets face it Leonard, the Eagles offensive line has not had the best of years' despite an 8-3 record. Its obvious the players on offense are frustrated with the current coordinator, Kevin Patullo.

There is also outside grumbling that Jalen Hurts is not exactly going by the gameplans and doing things his own way. People love speculation and getting computer clicks but with a SB win and two NFC championships, Hurts deserves the benefit of a doubt. If he is truly undermining the offense, then Sirianni has to deal with it, but Hurts also responsible for helping them achieve eight wins, so I feel the criticism isnt justified.
