Coaches and GM's who will be fired - 2025 Season
Out of curiosity, what NFL coaches and general managers do you expect to be fired in 2025?
And which ones do you think should be fired but won't be?
Me personally, I think the Dolphins might fire their coach, and the Bengals should but won't.

Daboll may be gone after the year ... why did the Giants quit giving the ball to Skattebo last night? Where was the moody Nabers? Why wasnt Russ Wilson not moving around outside the pocket? They had every chance to beat the Chiefs ...
The Titans have lost 9 straight games going back to last year. Callahan may not make it to next season. The Colts felt like they were a listless team yesterday. Only 56,000 in attendance but Nashville has had a heatwave and drought.
McDaniel could be gone but we will see. I like Tua but his turnovers are hurting them. They dont have the defense to overcome them. Grier has somthing on Ross ... he will survive.
Packers were hot but let the Flacco-led Browns come back and beat them ... obviously looking toward the Cowboys who cant cover receivers on defense. Is Schotty the answer?

The Jets got it wrong with Aaron Glenn. I'm hoping it will be a 1 and done thing like NE with Mayo. It won't be. He'll get 2 full years to fail and then we'll be back looking for a new coach
Everyone was screaming in the Jets ear. Get an experienced veteran coach. No they get another cheerleader bozo 1st timer in over his head...who hand picks Justin Fields and boots Aaron Rodgers out the door. Nice job. 2 more years down the toilet. Everything Glenn's touched has turned to sht.

So one tight loss to a more experienced team and quarterback and then an annihilation against a Super Bowl contender and then five seconds of emotion in the third game (per PFRA board rules, beating a team with a backup QB starting doesn't count as a real win, so the converse is that you cannot really count a loss if your team starts a backup QB) has convinced you Glenn is inept. Okay then.sheajets wrote: ↑Mon Sep 22, 2025 1:46 pm The Jets got it wrong with Aaron Glenn. I'm hoping it will be a 1 and done thing like NE with Mayo. It won't be. Nick Caserio giving a former Pats buddy the OC job in Houston may bring about his demise this year. I was not a fan of tanking 2 years on purpose the way they did for draft picks trying to rebuild like the Astros. For this to be the end result of that; two more AFC South titles and two more years of getting bounced in the divisional round and now this 3-14 type team we are looking at now, unacceptable.

Glenn has looked thoroughly inept. I think they do bring him back but if this is a 1-16 type disaster...how can you bring him back?

What about Kevin Stefanski? I don't think he even will finish the season, with his handling at QB.

The final drive of the first half against Denver can be the focus of an entire chapter in a book about Jets franchise futility. That is how bad that drive was from multiple standpoints. If we are talking a 400+ page book with 31 chapters and huge portions devoted to Lou Holtz and Richie Kotite and Adam Gase, that drive would still be worth its own entire 15-page chapter. That is just how truly putrid it was. That is the low point of the Aaron Glenn tenure. It will be difficult to top it in terms of patheticness. Now, Glenn might have to show up naked at a game to be fired before the end of the season. He could certainly be a one-and-done though like Steve Wilks was in Arizona or Rod Rust in New England if the team continues to struggle and Glenn has a hard time getting out of his own way.
The Jets had several close losses to good teams and with two key defensive players out and new systems in place on offense, defense, and special teams. I would have been okay with 4-13 if the team looked competent. I'm still going to be fine with that. Especially now, in fact, since that would mean improving from a winning percentage of .000 to go 4-7 the rest of the way. I think it is still too early and I won't make rash judgments off of six games when the offensive, defensive, and special teams coordinators are all new too. I did not take the over on the Jets win total this year which I think was 5.5 or 6.5. Too many new elements and too destroyed of a team, even mentally, from the horrible second half of the Saleh/Ulbrich era.
We'll revisit this thread later in the season and see what we each think then.
