Hi everyone, hope you are all doing well!

Out of curiosity, what predictions do you all have for the 2025 NFL season that is soon to be upon us?

Also if I’m not mistaken they changed the kickoff and touchback rules to encourage more returns. Do you think that will work? And if so, what teams do you think could benefit the most from said rule change?

Tampa Bay will be this year what Cincinnati was last year- incredible offensive team that will miss the playoffs because of a horrendous defense and shaky coaching

Its still early, but I will continue to predict the same thing the last six years, many players will go down to injuries and with alot of them, your casual fan or gambler wont really know the extent or severity of them. Todays players are just more brittle than past players and teams wont hesitate to sit them. Depth will continue to play a huge role for every team.

I'm going to guess the Chiefs will begin to 'regress'. When I say regress, I mean they will not make the Super Bowl. Other than Travis Kelce, Mahomes does not have a very reliable receiver to throw to. KC will also probably be a run first team starting this season with their off-season investments in their o-line. So, either Buffalo, Baltimore, the Chargers, Cincinnati or Denver come out of the AFC this year.

What do you think of KC's defense heading into this year?

Still early to predict but the Commanders are making questionable moves, getting rid of Robinson and not extending McLaurin, who could sit out the first game of the year after scoring 16 total TDs last year. They need to get him signed, though he will play anyway. Will Parsons or Henrickson hold out for their teams, though doubtful?

The Texans, Vikings, and Packers I have each starting off at 5-0 with each then losing their sixth game of the year. Yes, Minny will be good again in '25! And it will be because I think that McCarthy will have a fine year at QB! Two things I already opine of O'Connell - he's a winning HC and, last but not least, a QB whisperer hence JJ having a heck of a year! But until he wins a playoff game...

This may finally, sadly, be that first-time-since-2003 year in the 'Burgh. Maybe I'm wrong, but I'll simply treat it as 2008 when I picked them to finish 8-8. Maybe this can un-jinx things for the better. I have them beating Baltimore in the finale thus spoiling their bid for top-seed (that's a rivalry for you).

I have the Ravens (and the Bills, and the Eagles) beating KC. Chiefs have such a tough schedule! But I think this whole "stick a fork in them" talk is only going to make Patrick even more driven and focused. Ravens, or Bills, will again find a way to lose to KC in the playoffs. Kelce will be reignited and don't be surprised if we get that Randy Moss-like outing from Worthy. Andy Reid and their defense...yes, KC going into '25 with a vengeance! Until O'Connell wins a playoff game, until the Bills don't win their division, until the Ravens don't win their division, and until KC doesn't win the AFC...

In the Super Bowl, the Eagles will be dominating KC the first three quarters. Only this time, Patrick will spark a real big 4th Q comeback almost like Brady vs Atlanta. But the game-winning two-minute drill into Eagles' territory will come up just short thus the Eagles' D not only dominating Mahomes throughout like last year, but also stopping a Comeback of his (just as impressive)! It'll simply be like the Steel Curtain stopping Staubach when it matters most. And that Eagles' D will need a nickname by then!

Could the Super Bowl "advertise" a huge upcoming wedding event? KC might become the first team to win a SB after losing one, since the 2018 Patriots ...

If it’s significant that this year ends with a 5, the two conference champions will be on the Packers’ schedule: In 1975, Green Bay played both Pittsburgh and Dallas. In 1985 they played both Chicago and New England. In 1995, Dallas and Pittsburgh. In 2005, Seattle and Pittsburgh. In 2015, Denver and Carolina.

So looking at that pattern, I’ll predict that Super Bowl 60 will be between the Eagles and the Ravens.
