I think this season marks seventy five years since the Los Angeles Rams' prolific offense set records. I think their biggest one is average points per game with 38.8 points. Are there any others out there that have lasted 3/4 of a century?

Isn't Ernie Nevers' 40 points in a game the longest standing record?
It was set in 1929 so we're not too far away from the 100 year mark on that one.
It also spawned, if I recall correctly, one of the all-time great football headlines, too... NEVERS 40 BEARS 6!

It's also been 75 years since Jim Hardy threw eight interceptions in a game. It's almost impossible to imagine that happening again.

It's been 85 years since Washington scored 73 points in an NFL game.
Norm Van Brocklin threw for 554 yards in a game just one year after the Rams set the scoring record.

It’s not been 75 years since these were set, but I assure you that George Blanda’s 306 career missed field goals, and Paul Hornung’s 26 missed field goals in a season in 1964 are needless to say most certainly unbreakable.
Nearly at 75 years though is Night Train Lane’s 14 interceptions in a single season from 1952; let alone by a rookie.

Otto Graham averaged 9.0 yards per pass attempt for his career, which ended in 1955. The runner-up is Sid Luckman with 8.4 YPC from 1939 through 1950.
