What was the abbreviation for the Los Angeles teams?

Obviously football broadcasts didn't have the scorebug in the 1980's, but does anyone remember how the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Raiders were abbreviated? Was it RAM and RAI?

in nfl standings it was L.A. Raiders and L.A.Rams
in NFL record and Factbook, sohmetimes tey'd just use Raiders and Rams like for leaders ... may not be just one thing

L.A. Raiders and L.A. Rams.
And N.Y. Giants and N.Y. Jets.
Back then they would just show the score for a game - including the one they were broadcasting - now and then during a game.
The "scorebug" would take up the bottom third or so of the screen.
