Hopefully now it can help the coaching case for Buck Shaw making the HOF but we will see how far into the future?

Glad to see the AAFC finally getting it's due, though I was initially skeptical considering it's April 1st.

The only thing this probably changes is that Spec Sanders passes Lamar Jackson and Jalen Hurts for season rushing yards and TDs by a QB? Can't think of any other records still standing from the AAFC.

The 1948 49ers would surpass the 2019 Ravens as the single season team rushing leader.

I believe the Yankees were still using the single wing in 1947 and Sanders was a halfback, not a quarterback.

When looking at single season marks, the AAFC played 14 games and the NFL 12.

Great catch on this. I took a closer look:

-2 games less than the Ravens.
-Most of it with under center handoffs (I think), no Lamar Jackson taking off on passing plays (Albert pitched in with 350, solid, but not amazing at 5.1 ypg)
-A leading rusher I wasn't able to name. Can anyone guess without looking?
-Won most games decisively, but not being able ot beat the Browns, meant no playoffs even at 12-2

Until its final season, when the AAFC played 12 because it was down to seven teams.

But this is good news and long overdue.

This is way, way overdue. But I had feeling the NFL would follow suit after MLB decided to incorporate Negro League stats (a decision, btw, I don't agree with but that's beside the point).
