Frankford Yellow Jackets book

Post by Crazy Packers Fan »

According to Wikipedia, there is a book about the Frankford Yellow Jackets that was published this year. However, I can't find any trace of it anywhere online. If anyone knows where I can purchase it, please let me know.

I know that there was a guy that was putting together a picture book, but it was going to be light on content. The Frankford Historical Society put together a scrapbook many years ago. Otherwise, I have not heard of any Yellowjackets books being published.

Brian Michael and Andrew Weicker, Frankford Yellow Jackets: Philadelphia's First NFL Team. Philadelphia: Camino Books, 2024

https://www.caminobooks.com

Not listed on the publisher's site, so book's either been pushed back or canceled. My guess is the authors are late with the ms. and it'll come out on the Fall 2025 list.

I think that it was Brian Michael that I spoke to a while back. That would be the photo book on the FYJ.

The Frankford Yellow Jackets book is now out.

https://shibevintagesports.com/products ... igned-copy

Has a Forward by PFRA member Michael Moran.
Its only 150 pages long, so probably more of a pictorial book.
Still, looking forward to reading it.

So that is books on the Rochester Jeffersons/Leo Lyons, Providence Steam Rollers and now FYJ.
