If I’m not mistaken don’t several of these teams have major injuries or key players that left?Jay Z wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2024 2:46 pm From your data:

Re: The best and worst Offensive Score% Teams by season
1974 Falcons - Dave Hampton missed the first 5 games and was slow rounding into shape. QB Bob Lee had played well the year before but sucked as did backups Pat Sullivan and Kim McQuilken. O line was never that great even with Jeff Van Note and George Kunz and managed to get worse.SeahawkFever wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2024 5:45 pmIf I’m not mistaken don’t several of these teams have major injuries or key players that left?Jay Z wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2024 2:46 pm From your data:

2013 Giants - Team released Ahmad Bradshaw in favor of David Wilson. Wilson wound up getting a spinal injury 4 games in and never played again. Eli Manning led the league in INTs.
1962 Titans - Team still had Art Powell and Don Maynard. But traded QB Al Dorow to the Bills and wound up playing three different guys. RB Bill Mathis also was hurt and ineffective.
1976 Bills - Jim Braxton missed all but 1 game after running for 800+ along OJ Simpson the year before. QB Joe Ferguson played half the year, then got hurt and replaced by Gary Marangi, who was terrible.
2003 Raiders - Rich Gannon, who played at an All Pro level for the SB losers the year before, only started 7 games and was below average.
1950 49ers - Hard to say. Just didn't have a good year adjusting to NFL competition.
2006 Raiders - Kerry Collins had been the 2005 QB. He was just okay. They released him. Aaron Brooks and Andrew Walter were beyond awful.
2002 Rams - Greatest Show On Turf is no more. Kurt Warner is hurt half the season and not very good when he plays.
2008 Bengals - Carson Palmer and Ochocinco hurt most of the year.
1956 Browns - Otto Graham retired.

Yep, from All-Pro player to jamming his thumb and being ineffectual, to losing his starting job to Mark Bulger, a rough two years for Kurt Warner, before mentoring Eli with the Giants.
