77 Bears-Payton runs for 275 Bears win 10 to 7

Week 10 of the 1977 season brought the Minnesota Vikings to Chicago to play the Bears. Payton set an NFL record rushing for 275 yards. Here are the strange details.
--In addition to Payton's great day, Robin Earl rushed for 68 yards, giving the Bears 343 rushing to just 86 for the Vikings;
--Minnesota passed for 116 yards to virtually nothing for Chicago;
--Chicago intercepted three passes to one for Minnesota;
--Chicago pitched a shutout with the only score coming on a blocked punt;
--The time of procession was way in Chicago's favor 36 to 24 minutes.
