Best performances by players on a losing team?

Sometimes a player can do everything as best they could and still come up short.
A few examples of this from areas of pro football we pay attention to:
QB- Tony Romo's 500 yard game in 2013 against the SB-bound 600 point Broncos
RB- Barry Sanders' 176 yards and 2 touchdowns on a 1990 MNF game against the Raiders, one of the very few instances in which a player was named Offensive Player of the Week despite not being on a team that won
WR- Jimmy Smith's 15 catch, 291 yard, 3 touchdown game against a soon-to-be-legendary (though you wouldn't have known it on this day) Baltimore defense

I still remember DE Kony Ealy for the Panthers in the 2015/16 SB against Denver. Had 3 sacks, Interception, forced and recovered a fumble, but Denver still won with Cam Newton standing like a statue and getting hit constantly.

Derrick Thomas has 7 sacks in a loss to Seattle
Bobby Dillon had 4 picks in a loss to the Lions in Thanksgiving, 1953. He also got hurt that day.
He's been notified that he'd been voted to the Pro Bowl team but back then if you got hurt right before the announcement
you didn't get credit --- like now, you make the team, and are replaced.
Dillon, Doug Atkins and Lee Roy Selmon are three examples of that.
Patrick Mahomes threw close to 500 yards and had 6 TDs in loss to the Rams
Stafford had a 500 yard game and 6 TDs and lost. Aaron Rodgers have an amazing game vs Cards in 2008 in PO
Gabe Davis had 200 yards receiving and 4 TDs in a loss.... with passing and receiving sometimes it's comeback yards and TDs ...

We just lost Charley Johnson who threw for 6 TDs in a loss to the Saints in 1969. Dan Marino threw 6 TDs in a loss against the Jets in 1986.

TOM BRADY, SUPER BOWL LII!
Just LOOK at his STATS! Best QB-performance ever??
Perhaps Best performance-period, regardless of position!
If you throw that at all of us before the game, you REALLY think we all see Nick Foles still leading the 'Birds to Victory??
THAT'S the Majesty of those 2017 Eagles!
