104th season, Week 15 recap

the LVR 63 – 21 the LAC – The Raiders go up 42 – 0 at halftime (their largest-ever halftime lead) and 63 – 7 (the most points they've EVER scored [and the most points that the Chargers have ever given up]) early in the 4th quarter and end up costing Chargers H.C. Brandon Staley his job.
CIN 27 – 24 (OT) MIN – the Bengals stage a comeback from 3 – 17 down, late, and defeat the Vikings in OT by the same score that they beat the Vikings by in OT two seasons earlier.
Indy 30 – 13 PIT – the Colts score the last 30 points of the game to get their 5th win in their last 6 games and hand the ‘Stillers’ their 3rd straight loss.
DET 42 – 17 DEN – the Lions take a 21 – 0 lead at halftime and the game is theirs from there.
CAR 9 – 7 ATL – the Panthers win their 2nd game of the year (both wins coming on a last-second FG) and keep the Falcons from a first-place tie in their division as a result.
CLE 20 – 17 CHI – the Browns overcome a 7 – 17 4th quarter deficit to take this one from ‘Da Bears' (but only after Bears WR Darnell Mooney drops a 'Hail Mary' pass that he had right in his hands in the end zone as time expired).
G.B. 20 – 34 T.B. - Baker Mayfield has, arguably, his best day ever as a pro – with 4 touchdown passes and no interceptions - as the Buccaneers score their most points, ever, at Lambeau Field and Baker Mayfield becomes the first visiting QB in City Stadium/Lambeau Field history to post a perfect passer rating.
MIA 30 – 0 the NYJ – Zach Wilson goes out with a concussion in the 2nd quarter and the Jets never challenge MIA in this one and are officially eliminated from the playoff hunt as a result.
N.E. 17 – 27 K.C. - it takes the Chiefs a while to get going but once they do they leave the Patriots by the wayside in this road win.
'N'awlins' 24 – 6 the NYG – the Saints stay tied for first place in their division with this win which snaps Los Gigantes' 3-game winning streak.
TEN 16 – 19 (OT) HOU – the Texans come through on the road with Case Keenum at QB (with C.J. Stroud ruled out due to post-concussion symptoms) to keep their playoff hopes alive while eliminating the Titans from playoff contention.
the LAR 28 – 20 WAS – the Rams keep themselves in the playoff hunt with this win over the Commanders.
ARZ 29 – 45 SFO – the 49ers struggle for a while but end up with the comfortable win, their 12th straight within the division, over the last-place Cardinals.
BUF 31 – 10 DAL – the Bills dominate the N.F.C. entry based in TX which has shown a "Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde" quality this season - unbeaten (and averaging over 40 pts. per game) at home but only 3 - 4 (and averaging about 15 pts./game in their losses) on the road.
JAX 7 – 23 BAL – the Ravens hand the Jaguars their 3rd loss in a row (and 4th loss in 6 games) while clinching a playoff berth for themselves.
SEA 20 – 17 PHI – And in the game that was "flexed" into the Monday night slot this week the Seahawks end their own losing streak at 4 games while extending PHI’s to 3 and staying unbeaten against the ‘Iggles’ under Pete Carroll (the last time PHI beat SEA? 2008).
