Rodgers is now a Jet and will wear #8 in honor of Browning Nagle ... juss kiddin. A great career in GB with only one championship. Can he continue a recent trend of winning a championship with another team? (Manning 2015, Foles 2017, Brady 2020, Stafford 2021)
QBs With New Teams

Packers -- Love ... Starter now
Raiders -- Garoppolo

Panthers -- Dalton

I wonder if Broadway Joe will allow the unretiring of #12.

No. The Packers receive the 13th, 42nd, and 207th selections in this year's draft and a conditional 2024 second that would become a first if Rodgers plays more than 65 percent of the offensive snaps in 2023. The Jets receive (besides Rodgers) the No. 15 overall pick and a fifth-rounder.
Raiders -- Garoppolo
McDaniels only seems to want QB's that Belichick drafted. He has Garoppolo and Hoyer, and he wanted Cassel in Denver in 2009 before trading for Orton.

If the Jets still have any cap space or money to throw around, they have to go all-in and try to take advantage of Rodgers ability while they can. Derrick Henry would cost alot but with Hall they could give the Jets enough of a running game until the offensive line gets better. Would they add receivers Cobb or Lewis to push the other receivers or can Davis finally rejuvenate his career and help out Wilson on the other side? Ekeler from SD could thrive for this team but its doubtful the Chargers would give him up but he will be gone in 2024 if they dont extend him. I am still very surprised the Pack didnt try to obtain Zack Wilson but they must want Love to not worry about being challenged for the job.
You heard it here first, the Chiefs will not repeat as champions and the team that comes out of this division, though it should be Buffalo, will challenge the Bengals or Ravens--if Jackson gets signed--to dethrone the Chiefs for a chance at the SB. Will the AFC win again with a new team?

Could Atlanta still make a run for Lamar Jackson? This division has new QBs in Carr, Mayfield and Dalton, not exactly All-Pros ... With a stadium what, seven years old, might as well fill it with fans excited about the new season; could Jackson be on his way, or is Ridder good enough?

The offensive line was fine in the early part of last season until injuries wrecked it. If Alijah Vera-Tucker comes back and is healthy and the Jets also use their 1st round pick on an offensive lineman, the offensive line should be fine.
Breece Hall might actually be back earlier than expected. The Jets are not going to bother with Derrick Henry. Bam Knight and Michael Carter will play if Hall is not ready by Week 1.
I am not sure about the fascination with Zach Wilson. He was mostly horrific in 2022. Statistically speaking he is worse than epic bust JaMarcus Russell.

I really felt the Jets would rather give up Wilson than a possible #1st round pick if Rodgers just plays 11 full games. The Jets were fleeced but if Rodgers can get them to an AFC Championship game it might be worth it. Just giving the starting job to Love doesnt mean he will produce. Wilson could have pushed him and gotten the wake-up call that Brett Favre himself went through. GB may rally around Love but we will see. At least the team can focus on running the ball more and helping their defense than the past few seasons ...

Agreed. Mediocre quarterback. What are the Jets thinking?

Haha ... I get your humor but alot to give up for possibly one year. Lets see if he can lead them to at least an AFC championship game. They will need more than Wilson, Davis and Hall ...
