This was an interesting episode for reasons beyond football.

Late in the interview, Maynard talks about his father's friendship with Joe Namath. Maynard the son accompanied his father to a lot of functions late in life. I don't want to give the story away, but it is worth listening to. He'll talk about "gold jacket" situations and what happened sometimes.

I have enjoyed all four episodes. These are interesting interviews.
