Pro Bowl

I just read that QBs threw a combined 6 picks in the first half, alone, of this year's Pro Bowl. Also that practically all it takes these days is a stern look from an opponent to declare somebody "down." Does anybody even watch that game anymore? I can understand in the early '70s that the N.F.C. (N.F.L.) wanted to salvage a little pride after losing the last couple of S.B.s before the merger but when's the last time anybody truly cared about what happens in that game? (I don't think I've watched a Pro Bowl since sometime in the [early to mid-] '90s)

I honestly didn't know it was on. Didn't matter--I haven't watched a Pro Bowl in probably 30 years.

I found the COVID Madden Pro Bowl game to be more interesting.

Maybe when people stop watching this garbage game, it will go away.

I only saw a little bit of the beginning of the third quarter. I particularly enjoyed the sideline interview with A.J. Cole regarding how many hot dogs he ate during halftime.

I once read an interview with Gale Sayers in which he said something like, "We used to fight like dogs over the extra $500 for winning the Pro Bowl." Sayers was Pro Bowl Back of the Game three times in the late 60s.

As we all know, the Pro Bowl game is a waste of time, especially after a long season but a Pro Bowl Team is still necessary to recognize outstanding players that werent elected All-Pro. Pro Bowl selections still hold meaning for a borderline HOF candidate and have helped players get elected.
I realize fans are going to be part of the voting but coaches and fellow players need to have more weight towards the selections ...

Fans should not have any part at all in Pro Bowl voting. (in my opinion)

The Pro Bowl, just like the short-lived Playoff Bowl in the 1960s, has morphed into TV programming for the weekend prior to the Super Bowl. It should come with the warning: ACTUAL FOOTBALL FANS, WATCH AT YOUR OWN RISK!!

There was more real football played in one quarter of any Playoff Bowl than there has been in all the Pro Bowls for the last ____ years; fill in your own number.
