HOF QBs on the same team

Six times in history two future Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterbacks were on the same team. Three of the occurrences spanned multiple seasons. Don't count 'future' Hall-of-Famers (e.g., Favre & Rodgers in 2005-2007).

Can you name them?

The answer is below. It's hidden as invisible text - to read it, select the rest of the text of this post, below:

1948 Bears: Sid Luckman, Bobby Layne
1949-1952 Rams: Norm Van Brocklin, Bob Waterfield
1958-1960 Eagles: Norm Van Brocklin, Sonny Jurgensen
1959 Steelers: Bobby Layne, Len Dawson
1973 Chargers: Dan Fouts, John Unitas
1987-1990, 1992 49ers: Joe Montana, Steve Young

Montana/Young was an obvious one for me. Historically, I knew Van Broklin/Waterfield. And I was a Chargers fan who lived through the Nightmare Season of the '73 team, so I was well-aware of Unitas/Fouts. The other ones I had to look up.

Three of them were easy for me, but I guess I won't say which as long as the answer isn't out yet (in black and white, that is). If you want to get technical, after seeing your list I thought of another pair that would qualify. I guess I won't give the names, but it involves the Bears in 1949.

Blanda was inducted as a kicker only?

IN the future category would you count Brees and Rivers (2004-2005), and Warner and Eli (2004)?

Otto Graham - Y.A. Tittle

1948 for a short time. Y.A. Tittle was signed by the Cleveland Browns of the All-America Conference. The AAFC commisioner came up with the idea that the top teams help the bottom teams out by giving them players. Cleveland was forced to give Tittle and tackle Ernie Blandon to the Baltimore Colts.

If we include HOVG:

Arnie Herber - Cecil Isbell
Y. A. Tittle - Frankie Albert
Y. A: Tittle - Earl Morrall
Y. A. Tittle . John Brodie
Y. A. Tittle - Charlie Conerly
Bobby Layne - Tobin Rote
Tobin Rote - John Hadl
Tobin Rote - Earl Morrall
Len Dawson - Earl Morrall
Len Dawson - Jack Kemp
Earl Morrall - Jack Kemp
Bobby Layne - Earl Morrall
Jack Kemp . John Hadl
Jack Kemp - Daryle Lamonica
Fran Tarkenton - Earl Morrall
Johnny Unitas - Earl Morrall
Bob Griese - Earl Morrall
George Blanda - Daryle Lamonica
Ken Stabler - Daryle Lamonica

Of course, you could add HOFamers like JIm Finks and Tom Flores to the equation.

Seeing Earl Morrall with son many Hall of Fame quarterbacks as teammates (Tittle, Dawson, Layne, Tarkenton, Unitas and Griese), it would be interesting to compare it with Steve DeBerg, who had as teammates: Staubach (preseason), Montana, Elway, Young and Marino, plus Super Bowl starters Plunkett, Morton, Jaworski and Chandler.
