I think most would at least list Deacon Jones but how about some of these: Happy Feller, Elmo Wright, Spider Lockhart, Fair Hooker!

Beattie Feathers and (pre-NFL) Pudge Heffelfinger are favorites.
Of course, Dick Shiner is the all time classic...
Moon Mullins gets and honorable mention...
(Deacon was a nickname... idk if that qualifies but it does sound better than David Jones)
