Solid linebacker. I believe he led the Oilers in tackles every year of his career except for a strike year, even though there were 3 HOFs on that defense. Excellent all-around player.

I'm sorry, anyone who is listed 27 spots behind Joe Glockenspiel is not deserving of HOVG status!JuggernautJ wrote:John Turney (whose opinion I trust impeccably) has Bingham listed as the 74th best MLB/ILB of All-Time:

It would be interesting to nominate him for the HoVG and see what the consensus might be.
As always, it would depend on who else was nominated at the same time...
Nominate him this year and see what type of interest he draws.GameBeforeTheMoney wrote:Solid linebacker. I believe he led the Oilers in tackles every year of his career except for a strike year, even though there were 3 HOFs on that defense. Excellent all-around player.
Sometime soon (I think) Andy Piascik (head of the HoVG Committee) will post a notice here.GameBeforeTheMoney wrote:How do I nominate someone? I'm new here.
