Index of Coffin Corner articles

Post by Jay Z »

Is there an overall index of Coffin Corner articles, in case I have an idea and want to check if it's been covered before?

I was taught in the service never to volunteer, but this actually might be something I'd be interested in. I've done a lot of indexing over the years and found the chore to be basically mindless but strangely satisfying---making order out of chaos, like raking and bagging leaves. And I definitely can see the need for an index that, after all the initial grunt work of combing through 100+/- issues is done, can be easily updated with each new issue. That said, I could swear I once saw some kind of rudimentary CC index somewhere, years ago, but maybe I'm thinking of another publication.

I should probably punch myself in the face for saying so, but yeah, I am kind of interested in at least jump-starting such a project. Thing is, with indexing you really can't have more than one person at a time doing the actual work, but the work-in-progress can be handed off to someone else, if need be. I'll be in touch after the holidays.
