Hail Mary pass for my fellow researchers:

Does anyone have the final tackle stats for the regular season for each of the teams in 1989? Not every media guide now lists them, and not sure when I will be able to get back to the HOF archives to look them up.

Have you already checked every media guide for 1989? I believe I have a decent number of them if there’s specific teams you haven’t looked at yet.

If that’s a dead end, you could tally up tackles from the game books in the members only section. There should be a page in each gamebook that totals each player’s tackles for that game, so you’d just look at 16 of those sheets and add them up.

I have some of the 1990 guides in PDF form, but I would have to go to the HOF to find the rest, or buy them. Not sure what the HOF's rules on coming there in the COVID era are. I have all the gamebooks, and I could add everything together, but there is one game (Week 6 Raiders-Chiefs) where that page is missing.

I have hard copies of the Lions, Bills, Redskins, and 49ers if those are any help. I also have PDFs of the Cowboys, Seahawks, Patriots, Broncos, Colts, and Dolphins.
