I am wondering if anyone knows of any work done on older gamebooks.
Specifically, has the play by play data been transferred/translated/copied to spreadsheets?

THe late Rupert Patrick sent some of that information to me. I am working on getting it uploaded to the PFRA website.

There are sources online where can download everything back to 2002.
Pro Football Reference has 1994-2001, but it has lots of errors and doesn't tell you which team is in possession on each play.
The Football Outsiders has completed all the games back to 1985, but good luck in getting the data from them.
