SB matchups you're glad we didn't get

Plain and simple, some years we have a 'Wow, we almost got this or that in the Super Bowl and that wouldn't have been a great matchup.'

For every dream matchup we wanted but never got (Cowboys/Raiders 70s, Broncos/Vikings SB 33), what's the opposite of that?

Super Bowl 34- we almost got Bucs/Titans. Tampa had an even WORSE offense than the 2000 Ravens (with fewer special teams/defensive touchdowns).

20 years earlier: Super Bowl XIV-Bucs vs. Steelers. Not sure if that would have been very entertaining, especially if Doug Williams wouldn't have been available at QB for Tampa.

In 1967 AFL partisans were afraid the Houston Oilers would somehow make the Super Bowl. They thought the 1967 Oilers might lose to Lombardi's Packers, Shula's Colts, or Landry's Cowboys by 40 points or more. They were relieved when the Oilers lost the AFL Championship game to the Raiders 40-7.

Surprised 83 Seahawks vs. 83 Redskins has not been mentioned.

SB 41: Patriots vs. Bears. Pats would have gotten their fourth Lombardi way sooner, and it may have been a blowout with Rex going against Belichick's D.

Giants vs. Browns, XXI. That would have been an even bigger slaughter than 39-20.

Super Bowl XLVI, Packers vs Patriots. Yes, 15-1 vs 13-3/Rodgers vs Brady but to see two one-dimensional teams at it? A 'video-game' Super Bowl it, perhaps, would have went down as.
