Are we ranking their regular season performance (like the power rankings thread), or their Super Bowl performance, or the "whole package" from week 1 through the Super Bowl?

Mine is based on whole package. I originally had even-higher regard for the '14 Pats. The way they played against Seattle that SB, even though they still came razor-close to losing, really impressed me. Still does impress me but although that Seahawk team was still quite great, I can't but help to think there was still enough a noticeable drop-off from '13 who, in my mind, beats '14 Pats by at least ten (at least). After another glance at the 2016 Pats, not just that they were 14-2 as opposed to 12-4, but they seemed more dominant than '14 going into that Super Bowl. Yes, Atlanta had them in palm of their hand and it was more a case of they losing the game than Pats winning it, but Pats DID break from their 'grasp'! Still quite an accomplishment even though, pre-'94, it may have been too big a hole to climb out of. But it WAS (well) past '93, everyone knew the rules, so Falcons simply should have kept on the gas!

But that Eagles team...real special! Kick-A on both sides of ball! Championship-caliber during regular season as well as post with Nick Foles as the perfect 'relief-pitcher'! Simply the way they annihilated a team that not only also had "true contender" written all over them, but looked 'destined' going into that NFCCG off the momentum of a 'Miracle' the week prior and playing for the right to host the SB! Yet Eagles still destroyed them (with Foles)! And although their D actually 'fell asleep' two weeks later, the offense (with that...'relief pitcher', mind you) more-than compensates against...the Pats!! Real special!

2010 Pack, the vice-quintessential reverse-paper-tiger! There's only one 10-6 team better than they, the '88 Forty Niners!

I think the '15 Broncos might need to be just a little higher. Even though Elway wasn't the playmaker he once was by that point he still was a smart qb who didn't make dumb decisions. I think they would have handled this years Chiefs team somewhat easily. Think they could be placed ahead of the '10 Pack.

Elway was definitely not the same playmaker in 2015 that he was in the 1980's-90's.
Peyton Manning wasn't too bad though... but also past his prime.
;)
