Thought these were neat. Some of them are 'iconic' shots, but most of the photos were new to me, especially the pregame/postgame photos.

That first Super Bowl just looks and has that exhibition feel. So many empties (and glaringly apparent with the yellow seats) just looked like a lazy Sunday at the ballpark rather than the fever pitch atmosphere of what a Super Bowl is. I don't really look at that game and place it in the pantheon of all the other SB's. It was far from an institution

There are so many pics of Madden on the Raiders shoulders after the game. How long did they actually have him up there? 3 seconds?
