'19 Chargers 4-7 and all 7 losses have been one score games

Has anything like this ever happened before where through a large portion of the season every single loss that a team with a losing record had were all one score games? I know it has happened before with teams with good records where every single loss was by one score or less but a team with a losing record that would likely be extremely rare.

The 1972 Vikings went 7-7 and were the only Minny team from 1968-78 not to make the playoffs. They lost five games by a field goal or less.
