Jim Zimmerman's Oldest Living Pro Football Players website (https://www.oldestlivingprofootball.com) appears to have been inactive for some time now, with no updates in the past ~2 years and access to the forum somewhat limited to read only, if at all.
Jim, Steve J, myself and others put a lot of research in to the data on the site. Not just the oldest living players, but researching missing and unknown players as well as new discoveries, errors and omissions.
Not sure if Jim & Steve are still around, but I would assume at some point the site will disappear and the data on it lost, which would be a shame.
In order to keep the research going, would it be beneficial to transfer the existing data to the PFRA site?
I wouldn't want to clog up the Football Talk forum with such data, so would it be possible instead to have a new top level forum for say "Football Players"?
Having data for multiple players in the same thread is a bit messy, so would suggest having a new thread for each player/research topic.
I would be happy to transfer the data across in to some organized format if that would be OK?
Any thoughts?
Thanks.
