A friend from another site mentioned we used to have a pre-NFL committee headed up by Roy Sye. Does anyone have any info on this? Could he be mistaken? If not, was whatever used to be up on the site archived? Thanks.

I'm not sure what happened on this one. I'll check with Roy. The Wikipedia site still lists the Pre-NFL Committee, but somewhere along the way the website listing of committees was changed to reflect that some of those had been created and chaired by people who no longer were active in the PFRA.

Tanks, pardon the pun when I say "tanks very much" for bringing it to our attention that we didn't have a listing for the Pre-NFL Committee (BTW, my son and I visited Ironton and Portsmouth quite a few times last year when he was living near Ashland KY). Roy confirmed that he's still the chair-- he can answer your questions about anything that hasn't been put on the M.O. section of the website but that was gathered by researchers.
