Best-ever WR to never play in a playoff game
If not for ’82 and ’92 (albeit no longer a starter; just one reception vs NO in 1st Rd), Roy Green would be a prime candidate.
So who is the best?
So who is the best?

I don't know about "the best" but Danny Abramowicz (primary target for Archie Manning) is a name that often comes up during conversations like this.

Brandon Marshall... He would have actually played in a playoff game if not for the Jets losing a "win and you're in" game at Buffalo week 17 of 2015.
Re: Best-ever WR to never play in a playoff game
Brandon Marshall is tough to top, especially in this era. He was with two playoff teams last year (Seahawks and Saints) but was cut by both.
Billy Howton and Art Powell would rank above Abramowicz. Bobby Joe Conrad was with the 1969 Cowboys, but did not play in their playoff game.

I see that Bobby Mitchell had only a single punt return in the '58 playoff vs the Giants...but he wasn't a WR then. Can I nominate Mitchell?

As I've said before, pre-1967 you didn't "make the playoffs," but "won your division." Howton and Powell played before "the playoffs," as we know them existed.Jay Z wrote:Brandon Marshall is tough to top, especially in this era. To relate to the question, a WR would have played from 1967 (or 1970 especially) to the present.

So the "playoffs" from '50, '57, '58 , & '65 don't count? I'm backing Mitchell even more.
