Weeb Ewbank film collection
About a year ago without much publicity the Pro Football Hall of Fame uploaded 61 videos from their Weeb Ewbank game film collection.

It's an awesome collection of raw football footage that includes the game film from Super Bowl 3.
The Jim Trimble game film collection is also worth a look. The 1952 Dallas Texans' first-ever game is posted.

I started watching the Colt game films last night; there is more Johnny Unitas game footage here than I have ever seen before. I've also used the game film to find a dozen or so missed field goal distances so far.

Thank you for the heads up. It's great to be able to see full (or nearly) full formations on both sides of the ball in coach's film (broadcasts cut off the defense too often).Andrew McKillop wrote:It's an awesome collection of raw football footage

Just wanted to clarify, you need a subscription to view?

A few errors with the reel titles. (i.e. 1964 New York Defense is 1968) Not to cast too much shade on what is CHRISTMAS DAY IN FEB!

This is great - Andrew, thanks for sharing this. I found what I think is an error - '52 Eagles v. Cowboys is mentioned in one reel title.JohnR wrote:A few errors with the reel titles (i.e. 1964 New York Defense is 1968) Not to cast to much shade on what is CHRISTMAS DAY IN FEB!

Re: Weeb Ewbank film collection
Great stuff, thanks for the links! I was hoping there would have been some 1963 Jets footage in Weeb's collection. Does anyone know if a '63 Jets highlight film was ever produced? After Weeb passed away in 1998 his widow had a yard sale which included a number of rare football treasures from Weeb's personal collection. Some of that stuff quickly made it's way in to the hands of private collectors. Thankfully a number of items were also donated to Miami, Ohio U. for research purposes:
