an untelevised play

Here on Tuesday, I learned that the Graham Gano 63-yard game-winning field goal vs the Giants on Sunday was not the final play of the game. This was-
G.Gano kicks 74 yards from CAR 35 to NYG -9. O.Beckham to NYG 17 for 26 yards. Lateral to E.Penny to NYG 14 for -3 yards. Lateral to S.Shepard to NYG 41 for 27 yards. FUMBLES, ball out of bounds at NYG 41.
This play was not televised in the New York market. FOX decided the game was over when the field goal was made. FOX then quickly switched to the Vikings-Eagles game.
WFAN sports talk radio hosts Evan Roberts and Joe Benigno were not aware of the final play until a caller mentioned it on Tuesday. If you were not listening to the radio broadcast of the game, you would have thought the game ended on the field goal. Imagine the outcry had the Giants scored a miraculous touchdown?
I have since learned that this final play is not even viewable on NFL Game Pass.
