I guess this is a bit dependent on nomenclature, as in some places I see Mack listed as a DE and in others I see him listed as an OLB. I still think of him as a 3-4 OLB. This starting group may be historically unprecedented...Mack, Smith and Floyd are all Top10 draft picks. I cannot recall any other LB group with 3 Top10 draft picks. Can you?

I love Khalil Mack, but the way writers speak about him upsets me more than anything. "Did you know he was All_Pro at both DE and LB?" As if he played the two positions so well he was intentionally selected at both, when it was really just writers being confused and not agreeing. He started at DE and finished the year formally listed at OLB, but played the entire year as an edge rusher, while they shifted thhe D around him. Against the Steelers in 15 the Raiders started - officially - just one LB and 6 DB's. Against the Lions the officially started 5 Defensive Linemen, listing Mack as DL.

Nothing yet on 3 LBs all in the first ten draft picks but...
1960's Rams LBs:
Maxie Baughn: Philadelphia Eagles in the 2nd round (20th overall) of the 1960 NFL Draft.
Jack Pardee: Los Angeles Rams in the 2nd round (14th overall) of the 1957 NFL Draft.
Myron Pottios: Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2nd round (19th overall) of the 1961 NFL Draft
So all in the second round, within 6 picks of each other (albeit in different years).
Back to looking...
