Cowboy QBs don't practice in red? They did in 1988

For some reason, Dallas Cowboy QBs don't wear red in training camp, as the QBs of many other teams do. But I found short youtube clip from 1988 that clearly shows them in red:

Does anyone know why Cowboy QBs don't normally wear red in training camp?
