Need Help to Identify Football Patch

Post by RandySnow »

Can anyone help me out in identifying the attached football patch? I received it from a friend and I know nothing about it. I do know that there is a high school football league in Pennsylvania called the Lancaster-Lebanon League but I don't know if that is where this came from. Any help in identifying this patch would be appreciated.

I think you were just looking for the opportunity to work "Lackawanna" into a post.

Because, who wouldn't, if we are being honest.

Well, I could have said Louisville and even Lillehammer, but I figured I show some love for a town not far from where I live ...

Both are fine, but Lackawanna ... it just rolls.

Where did your friend get the patch? What does he (or she) know of its provenance?

He found it at a yard sale or the Salvation Army here in Michigan. He has no idea where it came from.
