My hall for the 1980s. (alphabetically) Same deal as my previous decades. If the sculptor called and said “I’ve only got enough bronze for 20 busts.”

You already had Payton in the 70's. You could, of course, replace him in the 70's with Tom Landry.
You also had John Hannah in the 70's. I would consider replacing him in the 80's with Dan Fouts.

I might move Reggie White into the 90's and substitute Joe Gibbs.

Duplicates are intentional. A certain GOAT WR will very likely also appear in two "decade halls".

I see. I thought you were going to fold your decades halls over into one great hall.
I still would have taken Fouts over Hannah.

Had Tuna won his second SB one year earlier (in ’89 instead), he likely still doesn’t make this “only 20 busts” cut but the fact that he didn’t win that 2nd Ring until ’90 makes him a clear shoe-out. Now if it was ’86 thru ’96, perhaps a different story. In either event, thank God it isn’t just 20 per decade. So many greats would be left out.
And what about Mike Webster for the ’80s? Yes, he won all his SBs in the ’70s but his best stuff (fully coming into form as a center) was in the following decade in which he played more seasons - 9 in the ’80s, 6 in the ’70s.
EDIT - make that ten seasons in the (entire) ’80s for Webster. Now an OL coach with Marty’s Chiefs, he immediately came out of retirement during the off-season to play center for them in ’89 and also ’90.
