Tanking and the Draft

Why not eliminate the concept of tying the draft order to previous season's won-lost record
and simply have a drawing for draft position. But reverse the order in each round so that the
team that picks last in the first round gets the first pick in the second round and so on.

That would eliminate the problem of tanking and probably wouldn't significantly change
the balance of power in the league.

I would like to see perhaps the bottom 6 teams in the league put in a lottery and the winner gets #1. That way there is a chance the 6-10 team that doesn't have the talent but played its heart out all year does have a chance to be rewarded with 1
