WNY PFRA Chapter Conference - April 7, 2018

The 3rd annual gathering of the WNY chapter of the Professional Football Researchers Association is scheduled for Saturday, April 7, in Hamburg, NY. In keeping with the tradition established by our meetings in 2016 and 2017, the event being planned for 2018 promises to be educational, entertaining, and great fun! We will have guest speakers as well as displays of historical artifacts and collections from our group members.
Our speaker list is not yet complete, but so far, the lineup includes a stellar cast ...
>Rich Blake, author of "Talking Proud: Rediscovering the Magical Season of the 1980 Buffalo Bills"
>Denny Lynch, former Director of Public Relations for the Buffalo Bills NFL franchise
>Jeff Schober, author of "Growing up Gronk: A Family's Story of Raising Champions
>George Bozeka, Assistant Executive Director of the PFRA who will discuss the upcoming national PFRA Convention scheduled for Buffalo July 2018 as well as the association's forthcoming book on the 1958 Baltimore Colts
>Mike Haim, the Buffalo Bills Cheif Statistician, who dazzled at the 2016 conference with insight into stat keeping and "behind-the-scenes" stories ...
John Steffenhagen will also be on hand with an exhibit of itmes from his Rochester Jeffersons collection. Other speakers have been invited to attend but have yet to confirm. I also plan to have some very rare video to screen in a "film session." I will continue to update as the date draws nearer.
All PFRA members are invited to attend. The conference will take place from 2:00 PM till 6:00 PM at the offices of Autism Services, Inc., 97 Main Street, Hamburg, NY 14075 (though many of us stayed until after 9:00 at last year's event!).
