A "perfect" passer rating is 158.3 (158.33), which has been achieved over 60 times in the NFL.

I was wondering what would happen if Drew Brees went 26-for-33 with 412 yards, 4 touchdowns and no interceptions. His passer rating for that game would be 158.27. Do you think the media would round this up to 158.3 and credit Brees with his second "perfect" passing game?

Are the media responsible for rounding it up? It seems to me the official scorer has to do that before giving the final stats to the media.
