The Karlis game winning field goal in Cleveland

Thoughts on this?

I've watched it over several times today and I'm leaning good but Cleveland always had this atrocious camera angle that was very close to the goalposts on field goals and extra points

You can't really pinpoint from behind the endzone if and when it goes over the goalpost. It certainly never sneaked through the uprights.

There was an initial roar from the crowd and some celebrating by the Browns on the field and sidelines until they saw the call and Broncos celebrating.

It was very close. I have always wondered about it.

Close but it appeared to me that the ball stayed inside the upright as it passed over. I still have a copy of that game and will have to take another look. It was more convincing than Don Chandler's game tying FG in the '65 Western Conference Playoff that forced overtime:

Yes that was no good. Chandler knew it.

I started to hang my head until a Bronco player jumped up and down. Then, I sat there stunned. Didn't think that it was a good kick.
