Arnold Horween

Post by John Grasso »

This is a request I received through NASSH (North American Society for Sport Research).
Can anyone help him. His address appears at the bottom.

Dear All:

I hope you are all well. I am in the midst of researching Arnold Horween, a figure who appears sparingly in histories of football. I've researched the Harvard archives and found some great material on this Harvard Crimson player and coach. There is a good book on the Chicago Cardinals (Horween's NFL team) but the franchise does not preserve an archive that goes back to Horween.

Can anyone offer any insights into primary sources (other than newspaper articles) that might be useful in my quest?

Many thanks,
