PFRA Offfice Nominations

Post by JeffreyMiller »

The deadline came and went and I have only received one nomination for an office in the upcoming PFRA elections. So far, the only nomination has been for Ken Crippen for the office of President.

I am asking that anyone wishing to run or nominate someone for an office notify me By no later than May 31. I will not accept nominations beyond that point.

Send nominations either to my email at odosagih@aol.com, or you can post them here ... it's up to you.

Thanks!
Jeff Miller

As Carol Burnett once said, "Seems we just got started and before you know it, comes the time we have to say 'so long'." Members, if you feel that PFRA should move in a different direction or at a different pace, now's the time to nominate yourself for one of the three other spots on the Board of Directors (Vice-President, Secretary or Treasurer), although I think that our folks there (Mr. Sye, Mr. Elder and Mr. Grasso) have done an excellent job for several years.

Thanks Mark!

So, should I interpret your statement as a subtle nomination for Messrs. Sye, Elder and Grasso?

If so, they need to confirm that they want to run again. Not sure how often they check the forum, so it may be a good idea to email them to see if they want their names on the ballot.

That sounds like a good way to interpret that. "So moved!"

I check the forum daily and if there's an interesting topic, several times a day.
I'm willing to run for another two years only if no one else wants the job.

What about an email to the PFRA membership?
