A Lombardi Trophy by Any Other Name

Until one week after Lombardi's death in 1970, the Super Bowl trophy had no name other than the completely unimaginative "World Championship" or whatever bland designation it had previously been given. Had fate not intervened with respect to St. Vince, leading to the emotion-based decision to name it after him, who might the NFL have otherwise honored with this tribute? Halas has to settle for the NFC trophy--and he was a founder of the league.

Never really understood the whole "world championship" thing, when they never play anyone from anywhere else!
Just to be impartial, maybe the trophy name should change each year.

The trophy should've been in the shape of a large bell, and named the Bert bell.
