Whether a Saturday or a Sunday, what comes to mind? SO many to mention! You got today. Yes, I'm sure so many more above it but thinking of Quinn vs Carroll as well as O'Brien vs Belichick. Also thinking of Red Right 88 & Duel in Dixie Sunday 1/4/81. I'm sure so many others better than this so help me out, gang! Thanks.

Others were both games were really good or notable:
12/28/75 Divisional Games - Raiders barely get by Cincinnati 31-28 while in the NFC game, it was Staubach to Drew Pearson with the original Hail Mary to beat the Vikings.
1/10/82 Conference Championships - Another memorable set of games - the Catch game between Dallas and SF and the Freezer Bowl between Cincinnati and San Diego.
12/31/83 Divisional Playoffs - Lions near upset of 49ers, a 24-23 victory for San Fran. The AFC game was the Seahawks upset of the Dolphins.
1/17/88 Conference Championships - In the AFC it was the Cleveland Denver "Fumble" game against the Redskins Vikings where Washington stopped Minnesota on downs inside their ten-yard line in the final minute to hold onto a 17-10 victory.
1/7/90 Divisional Playoffs - Rams beat Giants 19-13 on TD pass in OT, the other game was the Steelers near-upset of the Broncos, which was a 24-23 victory for Denver.
1/8/94 Wild Card - Chiefs beat the Steelers 27-24 in OT, the other game was the Packers Lions game when Favre hit Sterling Sharpe with the late bomb TD to win 28-24.
1/5/03 Wild Card - A pair of great comeback games; 49ers come back from 38-14 deficit to win 39-38 in game that featured bizarre last second field goal attempt that turned into a Hail Mary pass that almost succeeded. The other game saw the Steelers come back from a 24-7 deficit to beat the Browns 36-33.
1/11/04 Divisional Playoffs - Eagles beat Packers 20-17 in OT, the other game was the 38-31 Colts Chiefs game that featured no punts.
1/14/07 Divisional Playoffs - Seattle beat the Bears 27-24 in OT, and New England came back from a 21-13 deficit midway thru the fourth quarter to beat the Chargers 24-21.
1/18/09 Conference Championships - Cards build up a 24-6 lead over Philadelphia at the half, only to see the Eagles come back and take a 25-24 lead in the fourth. Kurt Warner pulled it out with a TD pass in the final three minutes for the 32-25 victory. In the AFC game, Pittsburgh was holding onto a 16-14 lead against Baltimore with less than five minutes to play when Troy Polamalu took a pick six to seal the Pittsburgh victory.
1/22/12 Conference Championships - New England comes back in the fourth to beat Baltimore 23-20 and the Giants beat the 49ers 20-17 in OT.
1/4/14 Wild Card games - Colts Chiefs 45-44 game and Saints Eagles game where NO wins 26-24 with FG as time expires in regulation.

These are the more compelling games today, I think. The Falcons will prove to be a tough opponent for whomever wins today's NFC contest while the Patriots are, well, the Patriots.
The Dallas-Green Bay game is interesting, but in these types of cases, where you have established teams with lots of playoff experience (even without Jordy Nelson) taking on a team led by a rookie QB and a rookie RB, I generally put my money on the established team. If the Packers can get to Prescott and pressure him into making mistakes, the Green Bay defense who was fourth in the league in interceptions will spell the Cowboys demise. I like Green Bay in a mild upset 27-23.
Pittsburgh beat KC 43-14 in week 4, and the Steelers seem to be hitting on all cylinders at this time, winning eight in a row. Their mid-season four-game losing streak included losses to both number one seeds, New England and Dallas, along with upstart Miami, and lost to the Ravens 21-14 where Baltimore scored two fluky touchdowns. But in the midst of their winning streak, Le'Veon Bell is arguably the most valuable player in the NFL during the last two months, on a historic hot streak. In a lot of ways they remind me of the 2005 Steeler team (not to mention the 2010 Packers) that is peaking at the right moment. While Kansas City is a formidable opponent, I see the bad weather conditions working to the Steelers advantage as it becomes a defensive struggle where the emphasis will be placed on the rushing games. In this environment, I give Pittsburgh an edge, even on the road, but I'm sure you will see a lot of Terrible Towels in KC tonight. Pittsburgh 17 Kansas City 7.

Yep. The GB-Dallas game was as good as it gets and Pitt-KC was entertaining until Ben hit Brown for the game clinching first down.
