Albeit practically all playoff teams having already clinched or especially already being locked-in their respective seedings, what finale week (again, '78 to present) comes to mind?

2004 immediately came to mind. 7 of the 8 divisions all wrapped up before week 17. The only one not, the NFC west, was won by a 9-7 Seattle team that gave up more points than they scored... as did the 8-8 Rams. Actually 73 more points were given up than scored by the Rams. :o
