I had heard something once about how Mike Riley was interested in Tom Brady, but I didn't know the full story until I found this article.

I was at Oregon State football camp as a freshman in high school when Mike Riley was the coach. He was impressed when I made a San Antonio Riders reference.

The cool part is that he was over with us QB's most of the time. Good coaching. Good coach. Cool guy.
